Production Process:

1.Cleaning the feeding pipe of black asphalt, then the mixing plant will be connected to color asphalt tank.

2.As in normal temperature, the hot mix color asphalt emulsion is in solid status, so heat it to 120~130℃ until its liquid before production.

3.During production, the emulsion should be heated to around 140~150℃.

4.Adding the aggregate, all aggregate should be clean and dry, with a maximum moisture content of 2% by weight, heating the aggregate to around 160~170℃, but pls note that aggregate temperature should be strictly control at 170℃, because too much higher aggregate temperature would destroy pigment color.

5.Adding Go Green color asphalt pigment, the color pigment ratio is 2.5-3%.

6.Mixing the product, recommend to mix 60 seconds after adding the color pigment, the color asphalt mixture should be covered fully with consistent color, without the block.

7.Mixed finished, color asphalt feed-out from the mixing plant, the color asphalt mixture discharge temperature should be 155~165℃. When the mixing is finished, ready to use is required.

Construction Process:

1. Road surface and paving machine should be clean, the paving temperature should be controlled at 150~160℃, paving thickness is about 3cm.

   
   

   Kindly notice: if paving the hot mix color asphalt material on concrete road surface, it would need to spray tack coat firstly, dosage is only 0.2-0.3kg/m2. But asphalt surface don't need to spray tack coat.

2. Compact it, the roller should be clean, compact it 2~3 times, the initial compaction temperature is ＞140℃, the final compaction temperature is ＞100℃.

3. After the pavement surface temperature cooling to normal temperature, then it can be open to traffic.
